This is a dent and ding item. The game has minor cosmetic damage to the box from shipping (please see pictures). The game is still in shrink wrap and has never been played.

Gear up for a thrilling adventure to recover a legendary flying machine buried deep in the ruins of an ancient desert city in Forbidden Desert: Thirst for Survival! You`ll need to coordinate with your teammates and use every available resource if you hope to survive the scorching heat and relentless sandstorms of the Forbidden Desert!

This game is by the same designer as Pandemic, and it has a similar style of game play but a much different (and after 2020, more escapist) feel than Pandemic. The light desert theme makes it good for families, while the mechanisms are relatively simple to understand. There's not a lot of reading required for this game, nor is the strategy particularly on the heavy side. Rather than thinking several moves ahead and considering collateral damage, this game encourages players to think through their actions for up to 1-2 turns. We think it's a fantastic cooperative game for families, and it comes in a decorative tin.

Desert theme not your thing, or have kids on the younger side? You might like Forbidden Island, a game with a similar feel by the same designer, but with a slightly less complex game play.
